Yael stone, a native of New York City Australian resident, was the character Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. From a young age, Yael has been lucky enough to work with the best storytellers in Australia, brilliant stars of performance and visionaries behind the scenes in films as well as theatre and television. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actor throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has made New York City her home after her role in the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery is a studio located situated in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the The Cannery promotes new writing and imaginative, inventive ventures.
